so, the idea of this is to maintain a directory of which bondage groups are and aren't active, so you can check where it's worth trying to submit your art and literature.
i need your help: if you notice a group serving our community has died, let me know. if you own an active group or are post to one and it isn't on the list, let me know!
sound like a plan?Active Groupslast updated on 8/05/13:
if you have or know of an active group, send me a link!

Inactive/Dead Groups:
[boy-maids-4-u] founder deactivated
[boundandgaggedboys] founder inactive. as this group appears to promote the submission of underage characters, i will not link to it.
[captive-culture] group deactivated...
[duct-tape-lovers] no activity since may, founder offline 18 weeks
[fetish-people] group de-activated.... this group is no more
[fine-fetish] no recent activity.
[gagged-and-drooling] inactive since august 2011.
[gagged-girls] requests to allow submissions by various artists last may-september still unreplied.
[latex-culture] group de-activated.... this one has ceased to be
[male-submission] no activity since march 2012
if you have a group, send me a message to let me know you're active!

thanks ^ ^
original post: recently, i've been noticing that a lot of groups have died. i guess it isn't surprising - these days there are loads, so it's only to be expected that some people will abandon theirs.
but... it
is rather annoying. if a group died and shut down, that would be fine, but so often they just get abandoned with no announcement, leaving a bunch of people posting "hello?" "is this group active?" on the group page and no way to know until your submissions keep expiring. now i'm sure there are all sorts of reasons why people abandon their groups, but here's the thing - your account is your own, and it's your business whether to log in or not. you can join or leave dA, whatever suits you - it's your account. but a group is just that. a collective endeavour, which the admins, you know,
administrate. simply walking away from a group without saying anything to the members is poor manners at the very least. sometimes there are groups where the founder (or all the admins) have deactivated their accounts or just stopped logging in, but haven't had the decency to pass the group on to anyone else or shut it down.
update dec 2012: sexy-maids, which was dead from april-october, seems to be alive and well again, and has been moved back to the active groups list! :3
update feb 2013: fetish-people and latex-culture both deactivated themselves, so i've moved them to the dead parrot list.
update 2, feb 2013: chamber of the mistress is active again! also new groups added. and then some more groups added!
update mar 2013: added more groups following your suggestions - that you everyone who has contributed so far ^ ^
update apr 2013 pranksoflilim added, female-submission moved to active... after all, declining my submissions is a sign of activity, i guess...
remember, it would be really helpful if you could favourite this journal so that people can find it!

Quite a few of your images would fit in nicely
i visited his page to ask why my last pieces were all declined, and discovered that the little worm had blocked me. yes, i was blocked by a bulgarian whose only contribution to the site is a photo of a condom...
i felt it wasn't sufficient to de-list #Female-Submission as it appeared to still be accepting other people's work, but if you're affected as well the problem must be wider.
Disregard that I'm the owner.
